The Chicago Padraig Pearses GAA was formed on the North side of Chicago by people from all over Ireland.

Founding members were:

Gerry Campbell (Co. Mayo)
Denis Dolan (Co.Leitrim)
John Cathal (Co. Sligo)
Hugh Gilgunn (Co. Leitrim)
Alex Griffin (RIP) (Co. Longford)
James Hogan (Co. Mayo)
Tom Heinley (Co.Mayo)

They've enjoyed some success in there short existence with three Chicago titles and one North American title. They have also had the privilege of having a number of All Ireland winners play for them, Paul Higgins, Greg McCarton, Gary Mason, Conor Deegan (Co. Down), Chris Lawn (Co.Tyrone) and Tony Boyle (Co.Donegal).
